GRANULAR TUNGSTEN
We started putting this material onto parts 4 years ago and have since developed it to make it suitable for a wide variety of parts, one of its great advantages is that it can be retro fitted onto new parts and does not need smooth machines surfaces to take it. In terms of wear resistance customers have found it gives up to three times the life of other popular coatings and whilst it does not perform as well as slab tungsten on stonefree soils (because there is less tungsten) price wise its about half the price but above all it goes where slab tungsten dare not to go! into stoney ground whether it be limestone, flint or any other destructive medium.

This opens up a huge area of applicability. What it means is that you can run on stoney flinty land without fear of seeing your extra investments destroyed in less than a few acres. Granular tungsten is electrally penetrated into hardened base steel and stays there till the end, it does not get knocked off or chip or split because it's approximately 6mm deep. On cost compared to slab tungsten, Granular tungsten is about 50% so there is not the huge daunting outlay that you have with slab tungsten parts. Ask for a price on your parts this means that you can get into the world of tungsten without being shocked by the price.

JUST TO RECAP:
Slab tungsten costs a lot more but performs better on stonefree land but it cant go into stoney land like granular tungsten!!
